This jersey number frame comes personally signed by Alexander Mogilny. Mogilny's lasting legacy would be that he was the first NHL draftee to defect from the Soviet Union to play in the NHL. Mogilny was drafted 89th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in 1988, and played 990 games in the NHL, scoring 473 goals and 559 assists for 1,032 points. Mogilny played 17 NHL seasons, his best in Toronto coming in the 2002-03 season when on a line with Mats Sundin where Mogilny tallied 79 points (marking the only year in Sundin's tenure that he did not lead the team in points).
